Coastal beauty, historic landmarks, and the region's famous winding country roads. Experience this scenic region with AMT.
Day 1: Across the water
Calais to Arques-la-Bataille: We’ll gather at our pre-arranged meeting point, or join us en route if preferred, then our journey begins with a ferry crossing from Dover to Calais. After taking in the views and breakfast on the ferry, we’ll enjoy a leisurely ride along the coast to Le Touquet for lunch. After lunch, we will continue on to our self-catering accommodation, a traditional French-style house in the historic village of Arques-la-Bataille. Traveling through several National Parks on route, with plenty of breaks and time to take in the coastal views.
Day 2: TWISTS and turns
Étretat: Today is all about quiet coastal roads with twists and turns. Our destination is Étretat, where we will enjoy lunch at a traditional French restaurant with views of the striking rock formations carved out of its white cliffs, including the Porte d'Aval arch and L'Aiguille (the Needle), a pillar rising up from the sea. Have a wander around and take in the charm of the village and the natural beauty of the chalk cliffs. We’ll enjoy a scenic ride back to our accommodation. Spend the evening relaxing or take some time to walk around the village of Arques-la-Bataille, the Château d'Arques Castle, or one of the many Étang lake walks.

The town is famous for being the birthplace of William the Conqueror. Enjoy lunch, or coffee and cake in one of the town's many cafes. Falaise, meaning ‘Cliff’ in English, take some time to wander the steep historic cobblestone streets. Our journeys to and from will take us through the French countryside, national parks, and over the River Seine.
DAY 4: THE ROAD HOME
The road home: After leaving our accommodation, we’ll cross the countryside, riding East. Passing through spectacularly preserved, picturesque towns and villages. Stopping at Bethune for lunch in the town square. We’ll end with a ferry crossing from Calais to Dover, time to relax and take advantage of all the Duty Free has to offer. On disembarking, we’ll ride together until you need to take your own route home to reflect on our trip, share your photos and stories, and of course, start planning your next MOTORCYCLE ADVENTURE WITH AMT.
